Nicolai Saturn 14 full-suspension 29er, 130mm rear travel, raw alloy finish, size XL.
OVERVIEW
* Nicolai Saturn 14 full-suspension bike, 130mm rear travel.
* Size XL: 65.5deg HA, 76.4deg STA, 519mm reach, 629mm stack, 475mm seat-tube (full geometry below).
* Great condition: raw finish with no dents, dings or major scratches – however, it’s a used MTB so bears some marks from use.
* Please use photos as an indication of condition.
* Frame bearings fully replaced in October 2023 and 10 rides since due to new bike.
* Rear shock nearly new, only ridden once.
In exceptional condition throughout both cosmetically and mechanically. Frame is nearly blemish-free with just a few marks around the chainstay bridge. No dents or dings or scratches. Bearings all perfect and replaced less than 10 rides ago using Nicolai-sourced bearings and hardwear. Fork perfect and recently lower-leg serviced – serial number shows it as a Yari but I upgraded the damper to the same Charger damper as a Lyrik Ultimate. Rear shock only ridden once (I used a different shock previously). Wheels very good condition. Dropper no wear or scratches and just a small amount of wobble (which it’s had from new and isn’t noticeable when riding). Cassette/chain seen very few miles and are sensibly specced – that SRAM cassette is all-steel for durability but still light. Rear mech has some ‘added lightness’ via a decent scuff but works perfectly (and alignment checked with a tool). XT shifter has some wear on the anodising on the thumb paddle. Cranks are solid but have some heel rub and a scratch on the NDS crank. Newish chainring. Brakes are new/unused, fitted with better UberBike Race Matrix pads than the standard resin ones. Disc rotors are used though. New/unused good quality headset. Bar and stem nice Nukeproof ones including the Horizon carbon bar. Tyres in great condition and set up tubeless. New grips and saddle.
.
This isn’t/wasn’t my only bike, so although 3 years old it’s done very few miles in that time as condition shows. It was my ‘normal’ trail bike alongside a Geometron G1 that I used for bigger stuff as well as sharing the use with a hardtail and a gravel bike…
I’ve owed this frame since new in November 2021. I’m reluctant to sell it but I’ve got a new bike and a strict one-in-one-out policy.
