£7500 (ovno)

ActoFive iTrain (size S2/large) CNC Aluminium Mountain Bike – 140mm Front / 120mm Rear – Flight Attendant Equipped

This ActoFive iTrain S2 is one of the most exclusive, high‑end custom mountain bikes you will ever see. Originally costing around £14,000 new, this is a rare opportunity to own a truly bespoke CNC‑machined trail / downcountry bike for significantly less that new, and in near mint condition.

The ActoFive iTrain is a genuine work of engineering art. The frame is fully CNC machined from aerospace‑grade aluminium and bonded using advanced aerospace bonding technology. If it’s strong enough for fighter aircraft, it’s more than capable on the trail. The rear triangle combines CNC‑machined billet components with a welded chainstay yoke manufactured by Nicolai. In person, the craftsmanship, precision machining and anodised finish are exceptional – there is simply nothing else like it on the market.

This frame is size S2. I am 180cm (5’11”) with a 32” inseam and usually ride size Large mountain bikes and 56cm road bikes. The fit is spot‑on for me. Realistically, this bike should suit riders approximately 5’9” to 6’1”, though I would always recommend checking geometry to be sure.

The frame is paired with an uncompromising, top‑tier specification featuring some of the very best components money can buy:

  • SRAM XX AXS 12‑speed carbon electronic groupset

  • Twin SRAM AXS pods (separate controls for gears, dropper post and suspension lockout)

  • RockShox Pike Ultimate Flight Attendant forks – 140mm travel (adjustable internally if you want a more XC‑focused setup)

  • RockShox SID‑Luxe Ultimate Flight Attendant rear shock – 120mm travel

  • RockShox Flight Attendant pedal sensor

  • RockShox Reverb AXS electronic dropper post – 170mm

  • Hope DUB bottom bracket

  • Hope 35mm stem

  • Hope carbon riser handlebars

  • Peaty’s Fat Grips

  • Beast full carbon saddle (surprisingly comfortable despite the minimalist design)

  • Roval carbon wheelset with DT Swiss 350 hubs

  • Vittoria Mazza / Martello Race Enduro 2.4” tyres – tubeless (currently fitted for Alpine riding; lighter XC tyres would transform it for downcountry use)

  • Custom ActoFive frame bag
  • Trick stuff Direttissima brake levers with Trickstuff C42 twin‑pot calipers front and rear

  • Trickstuff heavy‑duty brake discs

  • Hope F22 flat pedals

  • 4 x SRAM AXS batteries and 2 x chargers

On the trail, the bike rides beautifully. In its current configuration it handles bike park riding and aggressive trail terrain with ease, stopping short only of full downhill tracks. Swap to faster‑rolling tyres or a lighter wheelset and the RockShox Flight Attendant system turns this into an incredibly efficient all‑day all‑mountain or downcountry machine. It truly does it all.

The condition is A1 throughout. The bike is immaculate with no marks, scratches or blemishes anywhere. The anodising is flawless, and all components – suspension, drivetrain, cockpit, saddle and grips – present as like new.

So why sell such a bike? This was a personal reward after many years of hard work and was never intended to be sold. Unfortunately, illness now means it is no longer being used. As good as it looks in the garage, it deserves to be ridden and enjoyed properly.

Free UK postage is included, or collection in person is very welcome. I am happy to meet in the Stroud or Gloucester area and am frequently in Bristol, making collection straightforward for serious buyers in the South West.
