2017 Specialized Enduro Elite 29er.

Size large, good for people 5’10” to 6’1″. This is a really capable bike, it’s good for everything from trail centres to bike parks. It’s in well used condition, but is fully serviced and ready for the summer.

Mostly original spec, which includes carbon front end, Rockshox Lyrik forks, and SRAM / Specialized / Roval bits. I’ve owned it from new and have all the paperwork that came with it. Here’s a link to the original spec:

I’ve made a few spec changes: dropper post is a Brand X, the rear mech is a Shimano SLX, and the brakes are upgraded to SRAM Guide RSC. The front tyre is a brand new Kenda Hellcat ATC, the rear is the original Specialized Slaughter, quite worn. The rear is tubeless, the front currently has a tube but I can set this up tubeless if you prefer. Let me know if these tyres aren’t to your taste, I can see what else I can put on there. Brand new specialized grips.

The condition is well used, but the bike has been well maintained, and it’s just had a thorough service. There are numerous scratches and rub marks on the stays and forks, but no dents or cracks. The frame has been covered with an Invisiframe kit from new, so the frame itself should be pretty much mint underneath. The rear suspension links are moving freely and have no play.

The recent service included:
New gear cable inner and outer
Fork lowers service
Shock air can service

There are a few minor issues which don’t affect how it rides:

The SWAT box lid is a bit worn, this was rattling so I put a bit of gaffa on one end of the opening… see photo.

The captive fastener (rivnut) which holds the frame protector in place had corroded. I’ve replaced this with a stainless steel nylok nut. This means you need to use a spanner to remove the protector (not something that needs to be done regularly).

The rear wheel has a few dings in it, and a small crack. I’ve been using it like this for several years and it has worked fine, and it holds air no problem. It’s not very true, but not so bad that it rubs and you don’t notice when riding. The front wheel is fine.

I’m including a number of spare parts with the bike:
New chain and chainring (I can fit these if you like, but the current ones are fine)
Dropper post internals service kit and spare lever (not needed yet but I picked them up when wiggle was going bust in case spares became unavailable).
A shock body and other parts, which were replaced in a service but possibly didn’t need to be.
A few spare stainless nylok nuts for the frame protector.

Spare mech hanger

Tokens for the fork and shock.

If you are interested, I have a second set of wheels for this bike which I could sell with it. Stans Flow rims on Superstar V6 hubs, in good condition. I would swap these for the ones on the bike, for an extra £200. Or supply both sets of wheels (but only one pair of rotors and tyres) for an extra £300.

Collection from Bristol preferred, but will send by courier at cost. Contact me if you require this, and I’ll get a quote.
