I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

Seems like only yesterday that Commencal was announced as their Bike/Snow partner. Turns out it was 2 years ago (and was only a two year deal).

Well it’s genuinely nice to see that Saracen are making plans to still be around for five years at least.

This is just a press release with a paragraph at the top, innit.

I do like the idea of riding someone else’s bike at Fort Bill though, preferably a DH bike. It was bloody brutal on my enduro bike earlier this year.

    Full Sus – £85/day

    Ebike – £100/day

    Downhill – £110/day

I’d quite like to properly try a DH bike – might look in to it next time we go – I might be able to keep up with my Daughter then!
