It’s the final week of the Megasack daily prizes!

by 9

It’s the final week of us stuffing the Megasack! After that, we’ll have a bit of a break while you go back and check you’ve entered every day, and we try and get that jingle out of our heads. Dum-di-dum-dum-dum-Di-dum Bum-ba-dum-bum-ba-di-bum. Gah. Mark will be drawing the winner of the Megasack on New Year’s Eve. But before then, we’ve got a few more things to stuff into it…

What is the Megasack?!

Every weekday in December in the run up to Christmas, we’ll be publishing a story and video about a product that you could win, either as a Daily Prize, or as part of the Megasack. The Megasack contains one of everything we have given away as a Daily prize – that’s 16 prizes with a total value of over £4000!

What can I win this week?

Here’s what we’re adding this week!

Monday 18th December: Endura Believe Jersey

A UFO themed Christmas jersey from Endura’s custom production facility in bonny Scotland. This celebrates a local to them alien abduction attempt, while reminding you that belief is an important part of Christmas. Have you been good this year? Ho ho ho…

Tuesday 19th December: Tailfin Bundle

We’ve got a selection of top tube bags and forks mounts for you from Tailfin, makers of handy carrying solutions for all sorts of bikes. Each prize winner will get a 3 different sizes of top tube bag, 3 sizes of cargo mounts, some cargo straps, and some suspension fork mounts. Whatever your bike, you’re sure to find some new and novel ways to carry your gear with this kit, whether you’re bikepacking or just doing local laps without a backpack.

Wednesday 20th December: SQLab Bundle

Saddle, pedals and grips from the champions of ergonomics designs! Give your contact points a refresh with this set, and get your bike to match your body. 5OX Pedals come in different fits so you can match your pedals to the Q-factor you need. Grip 711 Tech & Trail 2.0 grips are sized to your hands, and the Saddle 6OX ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 ltd. Team Saddle is designed to fit your bottom during gravity riding.

Thursday 21st December: Altura Dirt Bag

This is a waterproof bag for all your gear – put everything in it, loop your helmet through the straps, and know you’ve got everything ready for your ride. Then, after your ride, perform the magic trick of opening the bag out into a changing mat, strip off all your mucky gear, then return it to bag mode with all your filthy kit neatly inside – ready to be put in the car, or carried through the house to the washing machine.

Friday 22nd December: Cube ATX Utility Poncho

  • Value: £99.95
  • From: Cube

A utility poncho! Just the thing for your pub bike or cargo bike – keep it with you in a pannier or frame bag, then whip it out when the rain starts falling. Suitable for wearing over any outfit, it’ll keep the rain off your legs as well as your arms and body. The hood fits over the helmet, and the whole thing is reflective.

Thanks to all this year’s supporters

If you’re a Subscriber to Singletrackworld, you’ll see the question (which you have to answer correctly!), but you’ll also get a box to tick to ‘double your entry’. Only paying subscribers will be able to see that box. Don’t forget to tick it!

Small Print Stuff

We can only post prizes to a UK address. One entry per person (unless you’re a Subscriber, in which case tick the box and we’ll double it). Vexatious multiple entries will be disqualified.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

I thought I’d missed a week of entries but it’s just the dates at the end of the week in the article.

@tthew in the unlikely event I’m lucky enough to win the megasack, I’ll send the poncho your way.

    Cheers pringle80!

Just for the avoidance of doubt, it’d make a useful commuter waterproof rather than an MTB accessory. You need full mudguards for them to be any use.
