Danny MacAskill and Kriss Kyle head to a few places around the UK for a riding adventure. It’s good to see the guys shred and ride a bit of everything. Due to the pandemic, it’s been a while since riders have been able to travel. It’s great to look forward to new projects and video releases again.
If you missed it, check out the edit and then be sure to watch the behind the scenes video – which might actually be more impressive. The amount of work that goes into planning, riding and producing is something else.

Last September I had originally planned to produce a bigger project involving Kriss and another two riders from abroad. But of course, as with most things in 2020, those plans fell through because my other two friends weren’t able to travel. So instead we thought we’d change our plans and still go ahead and try to do a little bit of filming. This time involving our mutual partner Endura. I wanted to make a video with Kriss for a number of years now as I think his riding is extremely creative. He is definitely one of the top riders in the BMX community. He has also moved on to the mountain bike in recent years doing a few really cool films which show off his different style coming from BMX.

Watch as the guys travel around and use whatever they can to test their skill. The behind the scenes edit gives insight into just how much work goes into making things happen.
When talking about the project, Kriss said:
“We just wanted to do something fun and a bit different. We both absolutely love riding all types of bikes so we might as well have as much fun as possible and film on the two different bikes. I absolutely loved it as it was the first proper trip I had been on since lockdown and twice the amount of fun.”
In the behind the scenes video you get to see more, including some pretty wild crashes. From the job of the production crew making sure everything goes smoothly, it’s crazy to see the progression and the attempts it takes to get things right.
By the sounds of things this won’t be the last project from this pair. We look forward to seeing what they come out with in future. When talking about working together, Danny said, “Kriss and I have always been good friends but I think in recent years we have become a lot tighter and I would love to do way more projects with Kriss in the future.”
As a hint about the any future videos, Kriss said, “I’d be hyped to keep this going for sure. I’ve always wanted to do something with him and we had such a blast filming this video. So there’s to many more to come.”

A ‘fun wee video’ indeed Danny! Great to see behind the scenes, you get to really appreciate the skills, effort and characters of the riders. Braw stuff! And not to mention the camera skills of the drone! Fantastic…double braw!!
