Orange Bikes announces an addition to its hardtail line up: the Orange Crush MX.
The Orange Bikes range of hardtails currently includes the Crush and the P7, both available in 27.5in and 29in wheel sizes. To the mix is added the Crush MX – a 140mm hardtail with 29in wheel up front and a 27.5in wheel at the back. We’re a bit sad it’s not called the Bucks Fizz.
Orange says:
This 140mm travel mixed wheel trail slayer could be your perfect only bike or an ideal N+1. It features a 6061 custom butted aluminium frame, 64.5° head angle, reduced offset fork, 75.5° seat angle, 430mm chain stays and a reach of 480mm (size large). Providing you with the stability to ride in even the toughest of conditions but not being so overkill you couldn’t ride your local loop with a smile on your face. Additional details include a sleek tapered head tube, CNC dropper cable guides, plenty of tyre clearance to accommodate even the wildest of 2.6 tyres and a new seat stay bridge.
At first the bikes will only be available in a Pro spec, and can be ordered from 4th September. The first 50 of these bikes will come in a Raw finish and be available from November. If you miss out on them, you can take delivery of a ‘Sparkling Silver’ finish from March. For the R spec, you’ll need to wait a bit longer – Orange doesn’t say when they’re expecting them, but with long lead times being reported on components this doesn’t come as a surprise.

Wow that’s overpriced.
Nice looking (and I suspect riding) bike, but yes, very overpriced.
Priced for the 0% finance market.
Had my first odd-wheeler back in 2007 when it was all but unheard.
So much so for being waaay ahead of the curve xD
Cheers!

At first glacé it didn’t look dear, then I saw it was a hardtail £££££££
