Langford, Vancouver Island will be home to the new Jordie Lunn Memorial Bike Park set to open later in 2020.
The new bike park was announced earlier this week and is set to open in Langford later this year. Named the Jordie Lunn Memorial Bike Park, and funded partly than to the Jordie Lunn Memorial Fund, the park will offer cyclists of all types a place to enjoy their bikes.
In addition to mountain singletrack designed for riders of all abilities and ages, there will be a dirt jump area, a pump track created by Velosolutions and even a 3km Cyclocross track complete with obstacles.
In addition to new places to ride, the Jordie Lunn Memorial Bike Park will also include a clubhouse with meeting space, changing rooms, showers, and bike wash stations.
The Jordie Lunn Memorial Fund is still accepting donations so if you want to help with this project or many others visit the website, or you could buy a pair of limited edition Jordie Lunn Vee Tires with all proceeds going to the fund.
