Christmas Countdown Day 4 | Stans Dart Tyre Repair

by 5

Day 4 of the Christmas Countdown is all about keeping you rolling when you’re on the trail, and what better way than with the new Stans Dart?

There’s nothing better than getting out on a ride and blowing off the cobwebs, but on the flip-side, there’s nothing worse than ending a ride prematurely with a puncture and no way to repair it.

It’s time to win again!

Sure, most of us run a tubeless set-up and the sealant in our tyres should be able to handle small holes, but what if you really slash open your tyre and need a way to patch up and go?

Stans, makers of very effective tyre sealant, has thought about this and has produced the all-new Stans Dart. This dual-action repair system for tubeless tyres weighs just 15g complete and packs down to a very small and easy to pocket design.

The Dart system features a handle at one end and a metal rod at the other. This rod is used for inserting the specially designed Stans plugs into oversized tyre tears and holes for an effective fix while out on the trail.

Stans has specially formulated the plugs so that they react with sealant for even better sealing.
