Crankworx

Get set for Les Gets – Crankworx is Coming!

by 0

Our design man Rob Crayons is on his way to France right now so that he can eat lots of cheese, drink lots of wine, put a gazillion miles on his car and…bring you the news from Crankworx. It’s a hard life being Mr Crayons, right? There’ll be reports here on the website from our man on the ground, plus you can follow us on Instagram where Rob will be posting artistically composed shots of all the action. Or possibly just photos of his dinner. Follow us and find out.

If you’re not lucky enough to be able to join Rob live on the ground for the full immersion experience, then – depending on what telly provider you have – you can also watch Crankworx live on the 24-hour cycling channel BIKE UK, available on Sky (ch.464) and Virgin Media (ch.552).

You can watch live (all times are UK):

  • Dual Speed & Style Live – 16th June at 16.30
  • Pump Track Live – 17th June at 19.00
  • Downhill Live – 19th June at 13.00

Will British rider Brendan Kerr retain his title as kind of Cranworx? Will Anneke Beerten of the Netherlands still be the Queen? BIKE UK will be coming to BT Sport and Free-Sat soon, but in the mean time, if you’re not on Sky or Virgin you’d best start ringing your mates and booking your spot on their sofa.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.
