Important: Everything you need to know about GO Outdoors Mountain Mayhem 2016

With days to go now until the 19th annual GO Outdoors Mountain Mayhem, we know that suddenly you are thinking “Hang on a minute, what do I do about….?” or “Can I use my….?” and “What if…?”, so we are sending you some important info to help you along your way.

Driving To The Event

Please make sure that you drive to Gatcombe Park via Avening and not through the middle of Minchinhampton. This is because Minchinhampton has the narrowest roads, gets easily snarled up and just causes lots of irritation for everyone. For directions click here

When You Arrive

Gates open at 9am on Friday morning. Please enter through Gate 1. For maps of the Site, Main Arena and Course, click here.

Please set up your campsite with consideration for others. Team camps great – but a taped off space the size of Minchinhampton isn’t. There is plenty of space for everyone, including trackside camping (shown on the map). Caravans and motor homes are fine. Just be aware there are no electrical hook-ups or effluent disposal available at Gatcombe Park.

Tent Pegs

Please count them when you put them in and count them when you take them out. Gatcombe Park is primarily an equestrian site. We are very fortunate to be here. Tent pegs are very dangerous to horses so please, please take great care.

BBQs

If you have a BBQ it MUST be off the ground. No exceptions. Thank you.

Jet Wash

We have gone to great lengths to provide you with jet washes (for location see Site Map). These are the only jet washes you are allowed to use.  PERSONAL JET WASHES ARE NOT PERMITTED.

Beer

We have our own Mountain Mayhem brew created especially for us by Stroud Brewery. It’s called 24hr. Please try it out in the Stroud Brewery Bar in the Main Arena and let us know what you think.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome at GO Outdoors Mountain Mayhem. Please keep them on a lead at all times and remember to ‘scoop the poop’.

Singletrack Event Programme

Is available now!! Just click here to download to your phone/tablet/computer. Alternatively it’s available on your phone/tablet for free via our Singletrack Magazine App.

Mini Mayhem

If you haven’t entered your child for Mini Mayhem yet you can still do this on site. However, you cannot enter after 8am on Saturday morning. You have been warned!!

If you have any questions please contact us through Facebook.

See you in the field

What Mark doesn’t know about social media isn’t worth knowing and his ability to balance “The Stack” is bested only by his agility on a snowboard. Graphs are what gets his engine revving, at least they would if his car wasn’t electric, and data is what you’ll find him poring over in the office. Mark enjoys good whisky, sci-fi and the latest Apple gadget, he is also the best boss in the world (Yes, he is paying me to write this).
