We’ve just been notified that the next round of the UK Enduro series at Crychan Forest, just north of the Brecon Beacons has been cancelled.
A post on the event Facebook page has the following statement from the event organiser.
“Round 3, The Crychan Forest – this weekend.
I am very sorry for the late notice. Due to serious personal issue, which I am not going into, we are having to cancel this round. This has been an extremely tough decision to make, and myself and the team have tried to come up with a solution but we just cannot make it work with this short notice.
The plan at the moment will be to use the venue for this round for the June or possibly the July round, the tracks in the Crychan are too good to be missed out and we need to hold another race here.
Please give me a few days to get my head/shit together and I will get back to you all next week.
Regards
Neil

The UK Enduro series and the British Enduro series are two race events vying for the position as the national headline enduro race series. Both race series are members of the recently launched British Enduro Mountain Bike Association. Both series were announced following the death of the UK Gravity Enduro Series in September last year. Personal reasons on the part of the organiser, Steve Parr were also cited as part of the reason the Uk Gravity Enduro Series was brought to a close.
Rocky Mountain are headline sponsors of the UK Enduro Series while Cannondale sponsor the British Enduro Series. The British Enduro Series website claims to be ‘The Official British Enduro Series’.
