Breaking News: One-off Identiti Protoype Stolen

by 2

A frantic Pat from Identiti Bikes has been in touch to say that a one-off full suspension prototype has been stolen. Keep your eyes out for it, Singletrack folks!

identiti mettle, stolen bike,
Have you seen this bike?

Here are the details of the stolen bike – and yes, we groaned too at the ‘stolen from a van’ line too, but let’s get it back:

Last night we had the only Mettle prototype in existence stolen from a company van in Newmarket, Suffolk.

The bike is one of a kind with the serial number ‘M2’ scratched in by hand on the bottom of the bb shell. It has no paint, and currently has grey vinyl rub on stickers in our logo and ‘prototype’ on the top tube.

We want this bike back, so please share this to everyone and hopefully we can get it recovered.

It’s built with the following spec:

2016 MRP Stage forks in 160mm
XO1 groupset
SRAM Guide RSC brakes, 180mm rotors
Reverb Stealth 125mm
Renthal Apex 50mm stem
Renthal Fatbar Lite Carbon bars 30mm
Halo Vapour 35 Stealth wheels
Schwalbe Magic Mary front tyre and Nobby Nic rear
HT X2 pedals in grey
ODI Elite grips
MRP AMg v2 chain guide

If you see the bike, call the Police. Simple as that. There is only one, so there’ll be no mistaking it. Here it is last month at Core Bike…
