While everyone was out racing at the Finale round of the Enduro World Series there was plenty to browse in the town’s piazza thanks to FLOW – Finale Ligure On Wheels, the first year of a bike show and demo weekend all rolled up into one.
Here’s a few bikes that caught our eye…
Launched at Interbike, and very much in demand at the dirt demo the Davinci Hendrix RS was represented in Finale. It’s a 120mm travel trail bike with plus sized 650+ wheels and tyres. Having been unable to meet demand with Canadian factory built show bikes, production has already begun on meeting retail demand.
Commencal were showing off the 2016 interation of the ever popular Meta AM in a rather natty red and black colour scheme. Priced at €3499 it’s looking like good value with a mix of SRAM, Rockshox and E*Thirteen finishing kit.
Another plus sized bike, this time the 160mm travel Scott Genius LT 700 Tuned Plus. It has a carbon mainframe and alloy swingarm weighing in at 12.7kg with a top notch finishing kit of Fox 36, Fox NUDE shock and SRAM X01 boost drivetrain and XTR stoppers. Yours for a mere €7999.
If plus sized isn’t your thing you can get the more conventional 650b version with a saving of 600g for the same dollar but with an eye popping colour scheme.
The Scale gets a plus sized option too, weighing in at 11.8kg for this alloy Scale 710 Plus with a FOX 32 and GX1 boost drivetrain.
We covered the launch of the new Ibis Ripley back in June. It’s good to see them starting to trickle out into the public domain now.
