Via Ferrata – on a bike?!

In which another kerrazzee continental type takes their bike somewhere it was never meant to be: this time, the Dolomites ‘Iron Roads’*. OK, it doesn’t look like he’s actually doing any riding on the via ferrata features, just the horribly exposed, death-on-a-stick, trails between them – but you still wouldn’t get us up there for love nor money. Or indeed anything else. Eek.

(*If you’re not familiar with the concept of via ferrata, think vertiginous routes through otherwise inaccessible mountain locations using in situ bars, ladders, wires and bridges, that in some places have been in that situ since the First World War. As sketchy as it sounds.)
