It’s always interesting to see what pro mechanics carry on international assignments, where the need to balance flight luggage weight allowances with all the necessary items to deal with any mechanical eventuality has to be met. Every tool roll is different, each one has been distilled over the years and reflects the typical routing jobs each mechanic faces.
Here’s SRAM top mechanic Keaton Ward’s…
“This tool roll has taken me three years to put together, it’s reaching capacity right now, it’s pretty full but it’s also still evolving…”
“If I had to choose only two tools? It’d be the Knipex Pliers Wrench and the Flush Cut cutters…”
“The machined sockets are essential for fork work”
“The Swiss Tool Allen and Torx wrenches are pricey but I wouldn’t be without them…”

I’m so sad for liking this 🙂
Move over on the sad bench and make room for me.
Can’t afford those PB Swiss Tools though!
I wish my tools were than neat as well…
I love the colour coded Hex and Torx wrenches!
