Scott 100: Four weeks ’til round one

by 1

We’re counting down to the Scott 100 series here at Singletrack – four weeks to go!

P
The event runs over the weekend of 11 & 12th April 2015; round one is based at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, mid Wales and the course is a corker.

Saturday night sees this year’s Exposure Lights Big Night Out, with a choice of the traditional 40km ‘Maxx D’ or the shorter, more accessible, 20km ‘Equinox’ – if you want to give night riding a try but aren’t ready to shell out on enormo-lights yet, then Exposure is offering £10 light hire to registered riders.

Sunday kicks off the 2015 Scott MTB Marathon Series. There are three route options, Full (75km), Half (50km) and Mini (25km); there’s also a Mini Marathon for under-16s who can ride for free with friends and family on the Mini Marathon course.

Will the sun shine? We have our fingers crossed.

Entries are live right now on the event website: all 500 of the Big Bobble Hat rewards for early entrants have already been claimed and are out in the wild somewhere (well, all 499 – we know where one of them is, as we can’t get Barney out of it), and with a big long list of event perks, from live entertainment and pasta party, to Torq-stocked feed stations and medical support, you’ll want to get your entry in sooner rather than later.

For entries, event info and more, go to the Scott 100 MTB Marathon Series website.

Barney and that hat. A match made in heaven, unless you are his wife, in which case: sorry.
