Santa may be busy with his elves but here in the pre-chrimbo idyll that is Todmorden life goes on. The delivery folk are all still turning up on our doorstep with plenty of test product to keep us going over the festival of beige food and endless TV repeats. It’s beginning to feel a lot like a riding holiday is here…
Specialized Camber EVO 29er
Mention it in your top ten and it will come, or at least that’s what Dave believes. With 120mm of travel front and rear for this ‘lightweight trail weapon’ (their words, not mine), the EVO has more travel, a wide handlebar, a short stem, and a large injection of GNAR compared to the regular Camber model. He can’t wait to get it muddy.
That’s a custom REBA RC on the front, fact fans. And the colour really is rather lovely.
Custom Fox CTD Evolution rear shock
The whole thing runs a 2×10 drivetrain based on SRAM’s X7 and X9 groupsets
…and that’s a very clean looking rear end. (not for long – BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA – Ed)

A Specialized….ok, that’s a change 🙂
The Camber EVO was £2200 for the 2014 model. That model is a 2015 and comes in at £2000.
Yes I openly confess to being pedantic! Sorry.
Trail Weapon. Ugh.
is there something special about that Wildcat helicopter tape? Seems obscenely expensive when there are:

those shoes are nowhere near as cool as their orange brothers.
Bill Hicks reference?
Good to see Castelli catering for the larger moobed gentleman.
