Visitors to Laggan Wolftrax should be aware that there will be some trail closures over the next few months due to felling work being conducted by the Forestry Commission starting in late November. This will include some closures to sections of the main climb and also to the Lower Red and Green trails as work progresses.
It will a busy few months at Wolftrax, with construction of the new Forest Centre continuing at the same time as the forestry operations. Up to date closure details and updates on progress will be available on site and also on the Laggan Forest Trust Facebook page.
“It’s never great to have to close trails at Wolftrax” said Jim deBank, Laggan Forest Trust’s Business Development Officer “but come the Spring, all the trails will be open again, as will the new Forest Centre with a brand new café and bike shop.
Brian Duff FCS Recreation Manager said: “The work has been planned to take place over the quietest months to minimise the impact on riders but everyone should take note of the diversions and closures to let the contractors work as quickly and safely as possible”

I hope they invest in more trails as well as a café, nice trail but over and done with very quickly.
