But will the prospect of a neon pink bike make 650b look like a good idea?
Yay, “26 for ever!” We still believe in it.
Echoing the usual observations that little wheels are fun, responsive, playful, and easy to handle, Commencal is keeping the 26in flame burning with a newly-arrived enduro model. Oddly, that flame seems to have a distinctly pink hue. As has become standard, the Meta SX Essential boasts a long top tube, short stem, and wheelbase-enhancing 65° head tube for a bike that is “always ready to go big.”
Commencal’s €2,000 (£1,600) Origin build includes a 160mm frame and XFusion Slant fork, a SRAM X7 shifter and mech, RaceFace Ride narrow/wide crankset, E13 LS1 chain device, and Maxxis High Roller II tubeless-ready tyres. Wheels and finishing kit come under the banner of Commencal’s own Alpha brand.
The Meta SX Origin 26 is available in pink with black… or black with pink. Both are available direct from commencal-store.co.uk.

Why I Love Commencal.
The End.
Looks just like a 650b Enduro bike but with all the bullsh*t removed.
