We came across this rather nice Ghost prototype enduro bike. Information about the yet-to-be-named machine is low, but here’s what we do know. Dan reports…
Ghost’s new bike has been in development for a while now, and after many months of design changes the engineers at Ghost are happy with what they have. The aluminium model on show is now ready to be transferred into a carbon production frame, and is set to be part of the 2016 range. The geometry and other vital numbers are all still a well-guarded secret but, after a quick chat, Ghost made it clear it’s not going to be like every other new 27.5in enduro bike.
Clearly the main design and testing have been focused on the new linkage. Once again not much information is available but what we do know is that the RIOT-Link is all about boosting the bottom-out resistance. The RIOT-Link is supposed to take care of the final 20% of the travel which makes it, in Ghost’s words, “almost impossible to bottom out”.

So – they make a good looking bike and now they’re going to ruin it by applying the typical ghost carbon swoopiness. Ah well 🙂
