Dan found some rather nice cycles over at the Polygon booth. The big downhill rig caught his eye first.
The Collosus DHX has proved itself on the World Cup circuit with the Hutchinson UR Team. Full ALX alloy frame, 8in of plush Fox suspension and 26in wheels.
Polygon’s FS2 Suspension System alongside Fox’s DHX RC4 shock makes for a super soft ride. Over this past year the Hutchinson UR Team has been running a prototype 27.5in downhill bike; we found out a little information but not much. It should be released in next year’s range and will have a carbon rear end, alongside an alloy front triangle.
Next up is the Collosus N9. This enduro machine features a full carbon monocoque frame and triangulated rear design, with 160mm travel held up by a floating pivot system. The 27.5in-wheeled bike has been raced all year, once again by the Hutchinson UR Team.
The futuristic-looking frame has been designed to offer plush travel while isolating chain and brake forces. It also seems that black is definitely back.
That’s it for now, watch this space for more two-wheeled fury from Eurobike 2014.
