Enduro World Series Returns to Peebles in 2015

by 1

We’ve just had the dates in for the 2015 Enduro World Series. It’s good to see that the EWS will return to Peebles, Scotland once again and that the vibrant enduro scene in Ireland gets a chance to shine. It goes up to eight rounds and five of those are in completely new venues. The season starts in March, in the southern hemisphere, which will be a shock to the northern hemisphere-ers struggling to stay fresh and fit over the darker months.

Crested Butte is a first timer to the series.

It’s time to get out that freshly-purchased 2015 Wallplanner and start filling in dates – whether you’re a racer, a spectator or just a distant watcher, we think 2015 is going to be a great year for bike racing of all styles.

Wicklow Mountains appear for the first time.

So, without further ado – here are the dates:

2015 calendar

Round 1 – March 28 – Rotorua, New Zealand – Crankworx

Round 2 – May 23/24 – County Wicklow, Ireland – Emerald Enduro

Round 3 – May 30/31 – Tweed Valley, Scotland – TweedLove

Round 4 – July 18/19 – Sameons, France – Tribe Events

Round 5 – August 1/2 – Crested Butte, USA – Big Mountain Enduro

Round 6 – August 8/9 – Whistler, Canada – Crankworx

Round 7 – September 26/27 – Zona Zero Ainsa-Sobrarbe, Spain – Enduro Festival Zona Zero

Round 8 – October 3/4 – Finale Ligure, Italy – Superenduro

Not a bad end to the series.
