It’s new magazine week! Here’s the rundown of what’s inside. Get your pre-order in at the Singletrack Shop today and we’ll post it out to you as soon as the UPS man delivers…
This issue’s awesome cover shot by Sven Martin features one of the raddest and nicest riders we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, Anka Martin, shredding prime New Zealand trail with Sarah Leishman.
Inside the cover, Singletrack’s art editor pops her editorial cherry on a trip to discover what Ibiza has to offer to mountain bikers once the clubbers have all gone home, and Alec Connon explores a stretch of the Colorado Trail, allegedly America’s most beautiful singletrack, with stunning photography from Cass Gilbert.
Back on these shores we take a look at how riders in Devon are working to restore the Haldon Forest trails after the winter storms, while at the other end of the country Chipps rides the whole West Highland Way with Nigel Page in tow.
We Work Here visits Renthal, purveyor and engineer of shiny parts galore, and Steve, Barney and Jenn explore the trails round Bakewell, Derbyshire.
It’s endurance, not enduro! This issue’s bike test puts long distance full sussers from Canyon, Giant and Salsa through their paces and we test the bikepacking set-ups you might want to hang off them, too.
We’ve dedicated the issue to Steve Worland and have written our own tribute to the John Peel of mountain biking, already sadly missed. There are columns from Chipps, Benji and Meerkat, Jewel of the Isle stops off at South Mimms, and last but not least there’s the usual plethora of ground-up Grinder products to have you dribbling and discussing. Phew!
The official on-sale date is 15th May. If you’re a subscriber look out for your copy landing shortly beforehand, and if you’re not (why not?!), then hotfoot it down to your nearest Premier Dealer, or buy a copy directly from the Singletrack Shop. PDF, ebook and desktop versions are available to subscribers. Custom-designed apps for Apple and Android devices are available via PocketMags.

That ALL look super!
Can’t wait!!!
All looks good stuff! Looking forward to my copy!
I’m ambivalent about product testing journos but I do think Mr Worland was an institution in his own right and should be lauded. WMB or MBUK don’t seem to have given him a mention, so good on you
So about 3 weeks way from Tasmania.
Mine’s just dropped. Need to place letter box closer to the ground so the spine of the mag doesn’t dent when postie pops it through :0(
Mine arrived yesterday – even features a route local to me
Looks brilliant I just got my copy yesterday!
Is Steve going to rise again so that he can do a photo shoot this December?
