Built with 1×1, 1×10, and 1×11 drivetrains in mind, Niner’s new Ringalicious is a handsome addition to the exploding narrow/wide chainring market.  Machined from 7075 aluminum, the chainring will be available with titanium or black anodising to match the company’s Cogalicious RDO and Cogalicious singlespeed cogs (or SRAM XX1 and XO1 cassettes), respectively. The 43g chainring will only be available with 32 teeth, but will ship with a set of Niner chainring bolts.

Ringalicious cogs will be available from Niner and Stateside dealers this week for $55.  UK availability, via Jungle Products, will be available to order in early March February for £50.

That’s what I thought too stevelol. Looks like it’d snap! Not a lot of material around the bolt holes to compensate for ham fisted home mechanics 🙂

Looks oval too. Man they really screwed up here – a flexy, oval shaped ring that’ll snap as soon as you try and tighten the bolts.. It’s almost like they don’t even test these things.

You’d have to try really hard to snap it by just tightening the bolts – in fact, I don’t believe you could.
I don’t think it’s oval either, certainly doesn’t look like it.

Sorry Andy R – sarcasm levels went into overdrive a bit. I was commenting on the internet testers damning new product by looking at a picture.
