by 3

We’re all killing time ’til Christmas right? To help you on your way here’s this weeks sample of films from Santa’s bulging, erm, sack.

We’ve got questions, trail creation, snow and sun and dust. One man and his dog, night rides, ‘cross rides, races, and scattered flurries. We’ve even managed  bit of christmas cheer, a gift idea and SRAM cyclocross racers after beer.

Grab your butties and bevies, tune in and slack off, it’s Midweek Mini Movies…

The Dirt Merchant

Jason Fenton has been building and maintaining mountain bike trails in the heart of Central New Jersey since 2004. The Dirt Merchant takes a peek into what it means to be a mountain biker and cyclist in the middle of some of America’s densest suburban sprawl. Film by Adam Nawrot.

White Balance

Six times Trial World Champion Marco Hösel wanted an indian summer ride at the end of October. What he got was one of the earliest onsets of winter he ever experienced. His ride: NICOLAI Argon FR, GATES Carbondrive, Rohloff 14 gearhub and a SRSUNTOUR durolux fork.

Blast3Valais

Nice edit of the Blast number 3 in 2012, an Epic Enduro Weekend in the Swiss Valais Region.
The Blast is the ultimate mix between Enduro race and a short Holiday.
In 2.5 days of riding, a small group of riders ride the best trails and ‘race’ against the clock on a total of 8 timed special stages.
Accommodation and meals are shared with the 20 to 30 riders, and the nights are reserved for chilling with a cold one, and story telling at the campfire.

Sunday Sessions, Jim Norton and his Ibis HD.

Last Sunday we caught a sneaky glimpse of the sun and the sub zero temperatures had frozen the otherwise boggy ground so we pushed out early doors to make the most of it.
Jim and Luna gave the local hill a good’ol blast, might of even been a couple moments of Strava bashing. Filmed by Ben Gerrish.

Taming the night

The regular Monday night ride crew blasting around some of the finest trails in the South East. A film by Oliver Townsend.

Belgian ‘Cross

A weekend spent watching the UCI World Cup ‘cross race at Koksijde and riding the local trails. A film by Oliver Townsend
