Manchester based co-operative and Singletrack Premier Dealer Bicycle Doctor has got a rather fun competition going to celebrate their 30th by playing a game of hide and seek around the Peak – and everyone is invited.
Running from the 31st August until the 9th September, they plan to get people out for a ride with a difference, offering prizes in return for tracking down their little Green Bike on a route they’ve planned and GPS mapped for you to follow.
Bike Doc’s been repairing and selling bikes in the same location in Rusholme, Manchester for 30 years. It’s still a true worker’s co-operative, meaning there’s no single owner; all the shop staff have a stake, and a say in the business. Or in their own words; we argue over everything for a bit, then agree to spend the takings on a few jars of ale!
They’ve teamed up with some of their brands to bring you a cracking collection of prizes from:
As Mancunian mountain bikers know, there’s a wealth of riding in a short distance in almost any direction from the city and for this ride the green bike is out in the heart of the Peaks. Find the green bike by following their 15-mile route starting in Hope, spanning arguably some of the best riding on offer in the National Park. Take note of the prize code that’s written on it to enter your chance to win.
Access the Route guide and GPX file on their suitably old-school website here!
