Ex-world champion Mountain Biker, freeride expert, Frenchman and all-round cool guy Cedric Gracia will be visiting the UK on a promotional tour for his new range of Panaracer tyres on Friday 28th May & Saturday 29th May.
On Friday the 28th May, CG will be visiting Stif Cycles in Summerbridge, from 10am to 1 pm he’ll be around to met and chat with and he’ll be signing posters. To celebrate CG’s new Santa Cruz sponsored Racing Brigade team tie up, there’ll be CG Panaracer equipped Santa Cruz demo bikes to try and you’ll be able to ride with CG on a series of short loops throughout the morning
On Friday, 3.30pm onwards he’ll be visiting the Wheelbase shop in Staveley (Nr Kendal) promoting his signature Panaracer CG tyres. At Wheelbase, there’ll be the opportunity to meet CG and get an autograph, plus there will be special promos and the chance to win CG branded kit – you can even join CG on a group ride.
Cedric is a big name in the world of Mountain Biking and this event is hoped to draw crowds from all over the region. It’s a great opportunity for kids and adults alike to meet one a champion racer who has starred in multiple movies.
All day on Saturday 29th May, Cedric will be at the Altura Trail, Whinlatter. Based at Cyclewise, there will be a fleet of Panaracer equipped demo bikes to try out as well as the chance to see CG in action on sections of the trail. Cedric will be showing off his riding skills on his new Panaracer tyres at various points around the North and South Loops of The Altura Trail, Whinlatter Forest, Keswick.
Benji will be heading up to see the man himself at Whinlatter and we’ve already got a couple of sets of the new CG signature tyre in to test, so expect to see a full review of them in an upcoming issue.

Nice coincidence, I’m doing my Trail Leaders course at Whinlatter on the Saturday, he can give us a masterclass!
At least there’ll be one person at Stif to keep the staff company next Friday then… have you been there on weekday since they moved? It’s like a morgue, and a quiet one at that.
