Nice bit of padding out after last weeks criticism 😀
Whats different in the new VG Peaks book?
Bought my cotswold book before it came out so got it straight away! But have yet to ride any of them… oops
Andituk: Big thing is we’ve put OS maps in. Some of the routes are new, some are updated to make them better or to reflect changes and some are the same. A couple of routes that were technically in the White peak have gone too. No fewer routes though! Extra info like route times n stuff. All new photos too to get you psyched!
should I worry that I quite like the Keen SPD Sandals?
(bought my 1st pair of [normal] sandles last your @ age 37, and really like them….)
Ya, i have pair of KEENS almost 8 years old and still going strong, live in them all summer
STW limited edition white towelling cycling socks to go with the sandals then anyone?
Ho Ya, there is a little label on the side of the KEEN sandal that says “Waterproof”!!!!!
Just think how cool those sandles will look, especially with white socks!!!!!

Lopes links – what do you get for your £130? are these replacements(for broken ones), upgrades(work better) or just shiny and say lopes on them(for tarts)?
The Lopes links are apparently stiffer than the original links. Presumably you can get replacement bearings without buying new links if you want to.
The Lopes Link is the upper linkage and bearing. It’s stiffer than the old 2 piece linkage that the Mojo had. Lopes link is now standard on Mojos. Along with the lower linkage, they are replacements for the linkages with worn out bearings on the ’07 Mojo. These are the 3rd set for this frame, including the ones originally fitted when new. The idea is that you replace linkage and bearings as one unit.
