We’d just like to say we’re very happy that Nick Craig has won the 2009 Three Peaks Cyclocross race 🙂
In a closely fought race from the off, Nick and seven times winner Rob Jebb were neck and neck coming off Ingleborough and it wasn’t until the final descent that Nick took the lead, holding it all the way back to the finish at Helwith Bridge.
This is Nicks second time as 3 Peaks winner, the first being in 1991.
Nice one Nick.

Good effort Nick, a big well done!!!

Just reward for one of the hardest working and nicest people in our sport!
Chapeau, Nick!
Nick is such a refreshing change from aloof inaccessible sportsmen. I was in North West Mountain Bikes on Thursday – he went out of his way to hold the door open whilst I wheeled my crippled bike in. He was just an ordinary bloke performing a basic daily courtesy, but I recognised him as a legend in my world… There was none of that “Do you know who I am?” attitude (even though I did know who he was), although that doesn’t really seem to afflict mountain bikers, does it?
He maybe an oldie but he’s still a good in my book. Class.
Two other great people in the MTB world are Sue and Barry Clark. and well done to Sue for beeting Gun Rita at the weekend.
Here , Here nice craig, had the pleasure of meeting him and top bloke. One day i’ll have a go myself. Looks and sounds like a great event/challenge, well if i can lose the stabilizers first!
Met him a few times for various training things and he’s a great guy, clearly still pretty quick as well.
Wow, close finish. First year as a vet too – last won it in 1991 I think…
I heard Rob Jebb was nursing an injury from last weekend, which makes his ride ultra awesome too.
Indeed pedalled past me far too easily at a muddy mayhem a few years ago and gave some encouragement.
Top Job by a Top Rider..
Quick as you like and a true ambassador of our sport. Top job Nick.
He’s the man, innee?
