Singletrack Mind Celebrates Ten Years

Here’s the word on the barbecue weekend from our man AJ…

singeltrackmind

Summer 2009 sees the 10th anniversary of Singletrack Mind mountain bike club.

To mark this event we are planning a weekend of riding on 18th and 19th July, at Afan Forest Park Visitors’ Centre, the ‘home’ of the club.

There will be a short easy ride Saturday afternoon, before coming back to prepare for a Barbecue, (bring your own favourite foods). On Sunday we will be heading out to remind ourselves of the way things were, by riding the original sections of: ‘9feet.com’ (now Penhydd) followed by ‘The Wall’.

This weekend is open to all past and present members of the club. To join in you need to be a current member, or a ‘has been’.

We are looking forward to meeting up with old friends and making new ones.

Camping is at Afan or you can use one of the many B&B’s springing up.

Please book your place with us, we need to know how many are going to turn up.
