The new ‘weather proofed’ course at Catton Park was unveiled at the weekend after much work by the organisers to try and limit the suffering brought about by a good downpour on the otherwise fast and entertaining course. However, the new sections were not needed as the weather stayed fine and dry and the course stayed buff and dusty throughout the weekend.
Over 600 racers set out on the Sunday for the 6 hour enduro – a capacity crowd and a record for this regular enduro season opener.
Sunday’s race results can now be seen on our aptly titled race results page.
The course will be getting further weather proofing attention over the coming months in preparation for the August 24 hour enduro Sleepless in the Saddle.
Entries for this event are still available here.
