Yorkshire people, in general?

I do find it quie amusing that the few Yorkshire folk I know drone on about how much better things are back in Yorkshire, yet seem to have no desire to return.

Hmm, that sounds a bit like my brother. Constantly telling everyone how much better Yorkshire is than Cornwall.

Like Scottish people but without the generosity.

But I live in Hebden Bridge – what would I know about Yorkshire folk? Everyone is from Chorlton or Surrey. 🙂

I’m from Dewsbury so I biased but I think we’re all great
I had the misfortune to live in West Sussex for a while, don’t get me started on that lot!
Any how I’m living in Cumbria now and they are fantastic up here

I was born on the correct side of the Pennines but have lived in Yorkshire on and off for 20 years.
It’s probably what makes me such a gifted and generous lover

Most people are alright here, same as anywhere else really.
Beer is heavenly, landscape fantastic, weather shite, flat caps accepted.

Born in Wakefield then moved away very shortly afterwards. Seems like I dodged a bullet. At the very least I have avoided defining myself simply by the place in which I was born and have managed to keep some options open.
