I've possibly got a line on a cheap, but still bloody expensive XX cassette.
So how do they hold up to all year, all weather (largely peak district) riding. Naturally I'm going to be paranoid about chain stretch, and it's not my only bike, but it still needs to last one HELL of a long time if I take the plunge.

Go for a PG990 from CRC on offer at £44.99' I used one in the Peaks all year round and got 3 chains use out of it, no brainier if you ask me!
I got the X0 cassette which is almost the same and seems to be holding up ok. Their made of steel anyway so should hold up for quite a while I guess. Mines been on the bike 6mths.

I've got a couple that are 2 years old and still fine. Very durable cassette.

I've got a PG990 that was brand new just before D2D this year,6 laps & 65 mile later I couldn't believe how much it had worn......
I'll find a photo of the one I sold after 10 months.
It had approx 0.65-0.70 chain wear.
I'm not speaking from 1st hand experience, but I wouldn't be putting any money on it lasting as long as you are hoping.
I'm afraid this is going to be one of those "someone I trust says..." type replies... But said person wasn't that happy and ended up with an XTR instead. 
They're designed to be light first and long lasting second. If you ride in the peaks, I'd get a cheaper 10sp cassette if I were you.

Hope you're having fun up there. I've had mine for about a year now (although it's not been used at all for the last six weeks 
) and it's still working just fine. It's been through one winter down here numerous trips abroad and north.
My gears still work just fine; I'm changing my chain about once every four to six months.
It is silly light; if you do want to save weight then there's a big saving over something like XT or the equivalent PG.... SRAM version.
My XTR didnt last much longer than an XT...
