   My 10yr + site has had a revamp. I'm now using wordpress which I'm really happy with. I need to jazz it up a bit. What other widgets and do-dahs are worth adding

   Like Dobbo says, start with a new theme. Then start adding funky stuff via plugins and widgets.

   Do a Google on:

   wordpress themes
   wordpress widgets
   wordpress plugins

   Be as specific as you can with the last two - there's a whole lotta WP stuff out there.
