I fitted a mini-V on the back of the pomp and it does actually work half-decently. It’s pulled pretty close together though, with the narrower spacing of the frame. Would one of those travel agent things work to correct this and improve the braking?

Bit of an “all depends” question – generally not, though. Obv. for slowing down front brakes are the one to spend the money on; rear brakes are for delicate control and big skids.

Mini V’s should work fine with drop levers if that’s what you’re using. Have a look at the cone spacers on the pad mounts. One should be fatter than the other. Move the fat ones to the inside. That’ll give you more clearance at the top of the arms. Don’t forget to move the skinny ones to the outside though.
