   Ok so I've just rooted my android phone for tethering my iPad.
   What tethering app do you guys use ?

   .
   Also now it's rooted what can I do with my phone that I couldn't before (appart from the tethering bit)

   My HTC Desire has a Wi-Fi Hotspot app built in.

   For those who don't have a native hotspot I have used "Barnacle" for wifi tethering in the past worked fine with a rooted Htc Hero and IPad 1.

   on android 2.3 and above it is in th settings as standard.

   Now you are rooted head over to xda developers to enjoy the wonderful world of custom roms. be warned, it gets addictive
