and rode into work last night. Arse biscuits!!Just went to wash out my mug etc ready for knocking off and noticed a nice 1.5 inch covering of fresh snow outside. Think I'll be doing the 'shorter' commute back.

I was surprised by it when I wok up this morning as well. Proper covering of snow here in Nottingham and it's stuck on the roads. I was supposed to be riding in the Peaks today. The riding would be great, it's just the betting there that's questionable now. If the roads here are bad, the peaks could be pretty sketchy!

Onzadog I wouldnt bother. We were in the Peaks last weekend and alot of the trails had thick snow covering. With this ontop (especially as looking back it started a fair few hours ago)- it would make a ride ...a walk

I was in the Peaks riding last week near Pooks pootle. It was actually pretty ridable and a good day out. We were riding around Chatsworth in similar conditions before Christmas and had a cracking time.

Metcheck is pure comedy these days.
Apparently today will be -18c (feels like -23c) here!
BBC finally caught up with reality (almost).
They claim +5c and heavy snow
Interestingly it's +3.5c and yes it is snowing, but not heavy. And some of it stuck.Posted 2 years ago #
