Rode Yesterday, had a brill time in the Malverns. Found some ace new super steep, tech trails on the North side. Muddy, Yes. Cold, Yes in the mist. Fun, Oh yes. Beer afterwards, of course!
Been out with family walking the mutt in Haugh Woods (for those of you who know the area). My word, it's like Flanders in there. Did a cheeky night ride in Dymock woods mid week which was pretty epically wet, but I didn't have high expectations. Still ace tho.
Looks cold and clear tomorrow. Commutes are back on! Riding is ALWAYS better than not riding, surely?

Had to tailor my ride a bit today as there was flooding about so ended up using lanes more but went further out.
Ti29er I put a rear light on today funnily enough, I've not done that before, great minds huh
My bike looks like it's been jet washed.

Yep, did 2.5 hrs on the road bike, more than enough, never seen flood water like it in some places round this neck of the woods.

I'm just back from 70 miles on the CX (mostly on-road) with a mate including the oh so lovely climb of Mow Cop:

Did a quick 20 miler this morning.
Low points - riding into driving rain, then sleet, then snow as I climbed which went back to sleet then rain back down again.
High points - (relatively speaking) riding back with the wind so the rain/ sleet wasn't right into my face. That, and getting home without the hangover I set off with.

It wasn't so bad today... Out good and early - this is about 8am on the climb up onto Bakestonedale Moor looking out towards Manchester. Soggy underfoot and a cold northerly, but barely a drop of rain. Who says it's always pouring around here?
PS: That's a classic cycling pic; crazy-legs - it really shows the steepness of that climb. Nice one!
