Anyone tried bleaching there saddles to get them back white again?, mines all brown & faded now..

Anyone tried it? Did it work? Is there any other tips to get "white" saddles white again?

    Cheers.

Don't bleach it – it'll turn a dirty shade of yellow. I use Swarfega orange hand cleaner on my T.H.E. seat – comes up a treat.

I don't know what saddle you've got, I've got a Charge Spoon, no fading here, i just wipe down after rides and it's still white. To be fair white is not the most sensible thing to put on a mountain bike is it.

Cillit bang works wonders – spray on, brush, rinse – whiteness 🙂

I use either acetone (from my lab) or nailpolish remover (which has an acetone base), then wipe it off with water. Seems to do the trick – aswell as avoiding cycling when it's muddy!

If it gets really bad, polishing with metal polish/t-cut/similar (assuming it's not made of real leather) will clean it up nicely too.
