I’m thinking of giving vinyl a go again after a 20 year layoff. Any recommendations on a relatively inexpensive turntable (will be partnered with Cyrus Pre VS2, 8 power & Dynaudio Audience 62’s).

Anyone got anything for sale ?

S/h Rega planner 2 or 3 are the standard s/h buys. They come up on e-bay every week – just look for a well cared one and be prepared to wait for a good one to come up. If you don’t take to it easy to sell on without losing too much etc.

1210’s (technics) I may have a pair going and a load of early 90’s vinyl?

My Project Debut II sounds great, it’s been superseded by the Debut III but it’s still a good price.

Depends on your budget, 2nd hand Rega Planar 3 or a new project Debut. Don’t forget a half decent cartridge

3rd the Project turntables. No need to splash extra on a cartridge as they come with a decent one fitted, set up and ready to play.

My dad has a Linn Sondek LP12 for sale. He reckons CD codecs are now where it’s at.
