I’ve just bought a new PC which is connected to the TV (for watching iPlayer and stuff). I also want to use it for Skype and when the HDMI cable is delivered the sound will come through the TV.
What I need (and am having trouble finding) is a microphone to use with Skype too. I was hoping to find a wireless mic so I could leave it on the coffee table and Skype from the comfort of the sofa. But the only wireless microphones I can find are for business use and cost hundreds. I don’t want to use a mic with a cable as the baby grabs the cable and the PC ends up on the floor.
The sofa is only about 3m from the PC – if I have a mic next to the PC will it pick up my voice ok, or will it feed back with the sound from the TV and sound awful?
