following on from the watch thread,am thinking about saving for a g-shock (have always loved the look of them) which one would you go for (as there are quite a few of them) if it had any features on it that would be good for mtb’ing that would be a bonus.p.s would be happy to save for a good un (as would be a present for myself/haven’t bought a watch for a long time 😉 thanks in advance 🙂

the mudman ones are good as the mud can’t foul the buttons

+1 for Mudman. Mine is a GW 9010 and I’ve taken to wearing it pretty much every day 🙂

It syncs to a radio time signal so is always accurate and is solar powered so no battery shenanigans.

The only downside is the light is a weak sickly yellow colour and struggles to fully illuminate the dial but no big worry.

Had mine for 2+ years and still very happy with it.

solar and atomic is the way to go. I got a GW-3500B-1AER

Mudman’s are possibly the only ones to have any benefits for MTBing as the buttons are sealed.
ga100’s lokking good and come in loads of colours of thats your thing
