Sorry to re-open old thread, and frankly, I suspect that no-one much cares. Some of the above speculation regarding my former life is sort of near the mark, but not quite the whole story, but that’s the way things are I guess. I can confirm that I am alive and well. Although I did, sadly appear on Bargain Hunt. I don’t mountain bike anymore, now stick to triathlon, timetrialling and running. Very happily married with 2 small kids, and basically the only time I go on an MTB is with one of them in a seat on the back. I suspect that this will be my one and only post, but regards to those who I used to ride with…it was a blast!

Been around since day one, pretty much, I think, either lurking or unsigned-in. Never been invited to the ‘special place’, though, and wouldn’t go if I was 🙂
