    I doubt its a typeface at all, to be honest. Though it may have started life as one and been heavily bastardised into a logo

    What do you need it for, out of interest

    X (X-line, to fit in with their fishing rods) T (? MounTain? Works better than ‘XM’?, def not ‘Touring’ as it was a dedicated MTB gruppo from the outset) R (racing).

    XT was 1985, XTR 900 was 1990?
