Spesh s-works

Yep, the S-Works 2D hands down. Still worth trying as they don't fit everyone, but do fit most IME.

Giro shape head... But up for trying something new

I liked my old Giro E2

I've got a LAS Squalo & find it fantastic.
Only other I considered was a Catlike, but depends on what you like & if it fits far more than anything elsePosted 2 years ago # -
I use a Met Inferno UL although that is actually a roadie helmet, Spesh and Giro make me look like a mushroom.
Try before you buy is the best advice.

I got a Giro E2 for MTB and an S-Works for road. Love em both.

for the money/weight ratio i think the Hex is a good buy - in the UK at least. 100€ in germany compared to £50 in UK.

I race with a giro atmos... nice and comfy, never tried the spesh.

Love my Giro Xen.

met kaos ultralite is rather jolly at the moment as a new replacement for my Veleno D which I managed to finally kill through headbutting low flying branches night riding.

I've got an Atmos, having had many Giros before, and it's not very nice, it's got annoying sticky out bits which I find dig into my head, seemed to be a common complaint when we tried to flog them too! It also weighs a **** ton compared to my 2Ds, I wear it every now and again, and instantly regret it!

I must have a conveniently shaped forehead then...

MET Veleno for me. Giro no fit too well.

Spesh and Giro make me look like a mushroom.
^^^^Thought that statement was excellent - made me laugh out loud!
Back to the XC helment....I use a Met Parachute - I like to do some bigger stuff sometimes, so the chin guard comes in really useful for the inevitable face plant! And when riding without the chin guard on lighter XC it fits well, its well ventilated & light...
