TK Maxx was a bit of a waste of time and the Vans old schools I bought are a little too slim for my liking

I can recommend etnies, I got a pare lovely pair of daps; and I do like them black ones, but that style look more like old school footy daps.

Me too .They seem really well made, like Vans used to be. Had positive experiences with Osiris trainers too. Stay clear of Airwalks every pair I’ve ever had were crap and the soles fell to bits..

i got a pair of black etnies kingpins in tk maxx recently for about 25 quid.
they’ve got a good few decent and reasonably understated styles of DCs in the manchester market st branch at the moment too.
