    Hi all,
Looking for a hand pump, for presta valves, which can happily pump up road tyres (so 100odd psi).
    Which from here would you recommend (not too expensive ideally);

    Frame fit or jersey fit?

This is the one I use. I can get it to 95psi before my arm dies, but that’s because of my weak arm rather than the pump. Small enough to carry in your pocket, also comes with a frame mount.

Why not get a CO2 pump?

I use that and put it in my mini-saddle pack 🙂 Inflates instantly to over 100psi 🙂

Yeah, Wiggle preferably, then it can come by Christmas.

Doesnt have to be frame or jersey or pocket fit, wont be carried around normally, and if it is, will just be in a bag. So nothing huge, but doesnt have to be crazy small either.

yeh you prob want at least 80 psi to get home on or 100-120 to ride onwards. I have used my CO2 pump and its great – If you do get one use a jacket or one with a plastic surround 🙂

If it’s not be carried then a Joe Blow Track Pump.

If they sell the Lezyne Road drive, then get one – brilliant. Got on on the frame of my Allez. TBH it looks nicer than the bike!

It MUST have a screw on flexi valve NOT a push on one. Push ons like to rip valve cores out as you pull the pump off. Annoying to say the least.

Lezyne Pressure Drive Mini Pump 🙂

    Brilliant little thing.

It has a reversible presta/schrader screw hose, which is so much nicer than the push-on ones (I think anyway), plus it’s good for mtb and road.

I quite like my Lezyne Micro Floor Drive. Pumps up road tyres to normal pressures without insane amounts of effort.

I do like the look of the similar Airace that was in the Fresh Goods recently, though. Halfway tempted to get one just because I think it’s a neat design.

[Edit] Oh right, I’ve got a Lezyne Pressure Drive too, which I do like for stuffing in a jersey pocket, and does get to usable pressures surprisingly quickly/easily for a small pump. If you don’t have to carry them in jersey pockets though, then larger pumps always win. [/Edit]

Get the large Lezyne road drive. Carbon version if you have some money to waste for a couple of grams saving.

I use a Lezyne Pressure Drive Mini Pump Small and it works fine for getting full pressure on my roadbike
