looking for some second hand pikes what is the best model to go for? would be grateful of some info

454 dual air unless you know a specfic spring weight will be Ok for you. i am a light weight whippet so needed air
Very adjustable as well with positive and negative air + lockout and floodgate adjustment – so they work if you forget to switch lock out off for a descent.
Cant recommend enough though I have not tried other Pikes

454 Dual air. Maybe uturn if you need it.
Good forks, but the damper leaks a bit & the air chamber can need a rebuild if they start to feel funny.

Do you want air or coil?

Air – lighter, more adjustable.
Coil – more durable, plusher.

(Others may not agree).

Coil 454’s if you can find them.

454 I’ve had both coil and air and Push’d coil all of them are pretty good, the new Revelations are slightly better .
