  • What long 26'' full sus frame, for a short arse?

    Had a great day at FOD today, but just feel my bike is too cramped.
    It’s a 2012 trek fuel 9, in med. I’m only about five eight, but it feels like I can’t quite get comfy.
    I’ve changed the stem to 90mm and the seat post is lay back.
    Anyhow I fancy a change, can anyone recommend me a long frame, to go with my 140 forks and 26” wheels?

    5ft 8″ & you think your’e a short arse?
    Try being 5ft 5 1/2 with a 29″ inside leg.

    FWIW, my FS is a 16″ Orange 5, albeit a 2010 model. Fits me spot on.

    Try 5’9″ (and a bit) with 29″ inside leg….have to find frames that can be modified to fit.

    Current ride is a ’13 large wicked 650b that I had the seat tube to top tube support removed…seat tube shortened and a new support welded on to sit better on the new shorter seat tube

    5ft7 here and my 16″ 2016 Orange 5 is just about perfect.
